The Smurfs are back in a brand-new animated adventure!
Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for the Smurfs, directed by Chris Miller and featuring an all-star voice cast led by Rihanna as Smurfette. The film is set to hit theaters on July 18, 2025.

In the trailer, introduced by Rihanna herself, Smurfette narrates her peaceful life in Smurf Village before Papa Smurf and the others are transported to Paris.
"When Papa Smurf is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him," the synopsis reads. "With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe."
Alongside Rihanna, the film features an ensemble cast, including James Corden, Nick Offerman, Daniel Levy, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, John Goodman, and more.
Rihanna not only lends her voice to Smurfette but also serves as a producer. She also created new original music for the film. The trailer features her hit song "Please Don't Stop The Music," and with her new tracks for the movie's soundtrack and fans are already hyped.
