Ocean Park Hong Kong Presents Christmas Sensation – Santa Festival

Ocean Park Hong Kong, one of the world’s beloved theme parks and Hong Kong’s People’s Park, will delight visitors this Yuletide season with Christmas Sensation, a celebration event featuring Santa Festival, spectacular attractions and experiences that combine education, entertainment, and conservation like never before!

It will be Christmas with a blast of Polar Adventure, a nostalgic Christmas journey through time at Old Hong Kong, and fruitful epiphanies about biodiversity at all the state-of-the-art animal exhibits. Throughout the winter holidays, visitors can enjoy musical performances under a giant 40-foot Christmas tree and enjoy hi-tech, interactive games at the Rise of the Guardian (Dreamworks’ holiday blockbuster) walkthrough. Authentic Santas from Finland, Holland, and the United States will also spread cheer and take photos with all guests. Some of the must-experience attractions at Ocean Park Hong Kong this Christmas season include:

Polar Adventure, the Park’s latest attraction, brings the North and South Poles to Asia with exciting bobsled rides and close encounters with King, Gentoo, and Rockhopper Penguins, Snowy Owls, long-tusked Pacific walruses and other Arctic animals. Visitors can chill at the Tuxedos Restaurant, which offers a low carbon menu and a wide view of penguins frolicking in their snow-covered habitat.

Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures features two female golden monkeys, Le Le and Hu Hu. They are the new neighbors of Giant Pandas An An and Jia Jia, who is today the oldest Giant panda under human care in the world. Come visit these animal ambassadors with your families and be inspired by their important messages of conservation.

Old Hong Kong takes visitors on a nostalgic tour of Hong Kong in the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Relive Hong Kong’s unique culture in the recreated streets and scenes, which showcase the rich culture of Hong Kong, Asia’s world city. Those keen to take home a memento of the yesteryears can also shop for souvenirs that bring back the past.

Thrill Mountain lives up to its name with extreme attractions such as Hair Raiser, a floorless roller coaster; The Flash, where visitors actually hang upside-down while swinging on its pendulum arm; The Aviator, which lets guests enjoy a taste of flight; and the classic carnival thrill ride Bumper Blasters, a traditional bumper car ride for families of all ages.

The Rainforest is where visitors can be one with nature. Home to some of the rarest animals in the world, the Expedition Trail boasts of some of the best flora and fauna in the planet. Accompanying guests on their immersive exploration of biodiversity are dozens of avian, terrestrial and aquatic animals living inside buttress tree roots. Guests can also take an interactive boat ride through The Rapids, meet the world’s smallest monkey and the world’s largest rodent.
