Pancho Magno Had A Taste Of Max's Placenta Smoothie: 'Masarap Siya! Hindi Lasang Placenta'

Having witnessed Max Collins give birth to their son, Pancho Magno gushed with a newfound appreciation for his wife’s bravery during her home birthing delivery. They welcomed Baby Skye Anakin on Monday night, July 6, 2020.

“Grabe, Sobrang proud ako kay Max, wala akong masabi,” the Kapuso actor expressed to Pep.ph via e-mail interview on Monday, July 20. “Sa lahat ng moms, love and respect talaga to all of you. Doon mo mararamdaman talaga yung mother’s love,” he added. 

Pancho shared she told Max how brave and courageous she is. “Lahat binago niya from carrying Skye for nine months. Even diet niya binago niya, parang hindi na niya buhay, kay Skye na. Yung love talaga na yun,” the new dad stressed.

According to the new dad, Baby Skye is his mini me. Pancho said, “The first time na nakita ko si Skye talaga, kamukha ko siya.” In the same e-mail interview, Max conceded and described their son as, “Mini Pancho with my lips.”

So, which one of them is likely to play bad cop or good cop to their son? Max said, “I don’t think we’ll be super strict.” Pancho added, “Strict but reasonable...”

Max and Pancho shares what placenta smoothie tastes like

The new mom said she’s recovered from childbirth and that she’s healing quickly, thanks to “drinking bits of her placenta” in the form of berry smoothies that have helped her recuperate. According to Max, the placenta smoothie was good.

“I tried it without ice cream, just blueberry, and almonds, masarap siya,” the actress swore. “Hindi mo siya malalasahan kasi bits and pieces lang, it’s not like a big chunk,” Max assured fellow preggo who’s considering to do the same.

Pancho had tasted the smoothie, and he also liked it, “Masarap siya. Actually, hindi mo malalasahan yung placenta.”

Max related it felt like she delivered another baby when her placenta was removed after giving birth to Baby Skye. “We had to deliver the placenta. Sabi ko, bakit masakit pa rin? ‘Yung feeling parang nanganganak ka ulit, for me, kasi ang laki ng placenta ko,” she shared.

“And then, breastfeed, and we cut the umbilical cord,” the new mom said.
