Visitors living outside of Baguio City will now be required to present triage forms and QR codes upon check-in at their respective hotels and accomodations as part of the city's efforts to prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases, its public information office said Monday.
Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong ordered all accommodation establishments such as hotels, inns, boarding houses, transient houses, AirBnBs, vacation homes, and the like to require their guests who reside outside of Baguio City to present duly issued Triage Forms from the Baguio City Central Triage Unit and their QR code from the Health Declaration Form website upon check-in at the establishment.The QR code can be obtained via the HDF website.
Non-Baguio residents who fail to present the aforementioned requirements upon check-in will be taken to the Baguio City Central Triage Unit at the Baguio Convention Center for health assessment.
The City of Pines earlier tightened its borders following a spike in cases in nearby areas. Its night market was also temporarily closed after customers and vendors failed to follow social distancing measures during the holiday rush.
