One challenge parents of toddlers usually face is having a picky eater. This is a stage when kids usually explore different tastes, but could also be a time when they insist on eating only food they are familiar with and refuse anything else, especially vegetables.
This isn’t the case for Pokwang and her almost-two-year-old daughter Malia. On Instagram, the comedienne frequently posts videos of her toddler eating home-cooked meals heartily. She loves rice and soup and paksiw na isda, and likes munching on vegetables, too.
Amazing! We’ve never heard of a toddler whose favorite food is paksiw na isda!

Pokwang shared a tip for those who want their kids to eat well: setting a good example is key.

“Flex ko lang mga kasambahay ko ha... Wow nakiki flex!!
Tapos kanta ka anak ng bahay kubo hahahhaa VERY GOOD MY LOVE,” she wrote as caption for a video of Malia enjoying a piece of okra.
More than this, Pokwang emphasizes that the reason they eat with their helpers is to teach Malia the value of humility.
She says the first lesson a parent should instill in her child is good human relations — and we agree!
