Rachel Peters has given birth to her first child, a beautiful baby girl!
On her Instagram stories, the former Miss Universe Philippines shared a photo of her newborn sleeping. She captioned it simply with, “We’re home.”
Rachel’s husband, Camarines Sur governor Migz Villafuerte also didn’t miss the chance to show off their daughter on social media. “I’m so in love with you,” the proud dad gushed in an Instagram post.
The couple has yet to reveal their daughter’s name, but their friends and family are already commenting how gorgeous she is! Just look at that adorable face!
Rachel and Migz recently tied the knot in a civil wedding held in July 2021. They got engaged in November 2019 after dating for five years but had to postpone their wedding plans because of the pandemic.
On her Instagram account, Rachel had been relishing her pregnancy, calling the journey “truly incredible and transformational.” She has been vocal about embracing all the changes in her body that come with bearing a child.
In one of her baby bump photos, the former beauty queen shares, “This time around, I’m not going to be shy and hide them in my phone roll forever because I am damn proud of my body and how it’s transformed to grow and nurture our little sprout.”
“Shout out to all the mamas on here — you’re all badass,” she adds.
