Roxanne Barcelo is relishing mom life and taking her time revealing details about her newborn on social media. On June 27, 2021, the actress, singer, and vlogger finally shared photos of her baby boy and showed his face to her followers, in celebration of his first month.
“Our son at 1 month — five weeks,” Roxanne wrote in her caption. “Swipe to the end to see how Papa Panda kept @dababycinco from crying. #May22 #puwerausog po”
In the comments section, Roxanne’s friends couldn’t help but gush. “One month na?! So fast!!!” said fellow actress and preggo Sam Pinto.
Actress Marian Rivera left three heart emojis while Rodjun Cruz wrote, “Congratulations [heart eyes emoji] Pogi.”
It was on June 6 when the actress announced via her Instagram Stories that she had given birth, but based on her hashtag, it seems the real birth date of her firstborn is on May 22.
“Here’s to the rest of our life,” was her short and sweet caption then.
Roxanne also tagged the Instagram handle @dababycinco. While the account is public, there are no photos yet to this day and only follows one other account, Roxanne’s.
In another post, Roxanne shared that she is all set to embrace her new life as a mom. Posting a glammed-up photo, the singer wrote, “Sana ito na lang po grad pic ko. Major in BS ng Pagiging Dalaga. Salamat sa mga naging propesor ko.
“Ngayon ready nako mag double major, AB in Housewifery and Motherhood.”
She also followed it with hashtags that showed her sense of humor. “#asamom #asahousewife #hinog #mymadirraisedmewell #commartstalagatinaposko #andculinaryarts #suswalatoh”
In a Dibdibang Usapan interview with SmartParenting.com.ph in May 2021, Roxanne became emotional as she gave a message to her then baby-on-the-way, whom she calls “the greatest blessing” to their family.
“I’m so excited to love you even more than… I am so obsessed with you already now,” she shares.
“I can’t wait to just see you, meet you, look in your eyes and hug you and love you and feed you and sleep with you and all of those things,” the actress gushed. “I'm just so excited to share the joy with your dad and to look at you every day, and we have been waiting for you. So we will do our best to learn to be the best parents.”
Roxanne announced in January 2021 that she was expecting her first baby at 36 years old, and just a month after revealing that she had gotten married to her non-showbiz boyfriend during the pandemic.
