Amy Perez gets emotional about her thieving kasambahay’s arrest
“Hirap din ng sobrang bait. Naaawa ako, pero baka daw marami pang mabiktima pag di ikulong,“ said the TV host regarding Melrose Buli-buli, a.k.a. Rose Besona, her house helper who was arrested through an entrapment operation by the Special Operations Unity of the Quezon City Police District. Besona stole P12,000 in cash and three expensive watches worth P260,000 of Carlo Castillo, Amy’s husband. Besona has also admitted to stealing food, valuables, and money from her employers every time the couple leaves the house. She was slapped with a case of non-bailable qualified theft by the couple. Recall alert: Britax strollersADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Britax are recalling two of their stroller models, both of which have been in the market since 2011. The two strollers are the B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers with click-and-go receivers. The recall comes after 33 incidents of strollers unexpectedly disconnecting from the stroller component and falling to the ground — 26 of the 33 cases resulted in injuries such as scratches, bruises, cuts, and bumps to the head. According to the CPSC, “a damaged receiver mount on the stroller can cause the car seat to disengage and fall unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to infants in the car seat.” The issue arises when the strollers are in travel system mode, wherein the car seat component is attached to the stroller frame using click-and-go receivers. Since the strollers have been sold for quite some time now, the commission estimates that about 676,000 of these strollers have been sold in the U.S., with an additional 40,000 or so sold outside the U.S. Check here for the specific list of model numbers.
