Blogger and mom of one Saab Magalona gave a glimpse of the realities of a mom's life in her recent Instagram post, and her followers cheered her on with comments of support and admiration.
"Shout out to all parents who took their baby to a wedding and prayed sooo hard that they wouldn’t make noise. It was also because of the Lord’s work that I did not fall off my seat while reaching for something in the baby bag," Saab captioned a photo taken during a wedding they attended.
The image shows their family of three -- husband Jim Bacarro seated next to her and she, holding little Pancho on her lap with one hand while she struggled to get something from her bag on the floor with the other -- in a candid shot.
Many moms who follow Saab on the social media platrform said the photo said a thousand words and that they could all relate to it.
"I know the feeling! Multitasking to the highest level!" said user @itsemagee.
"I say this photo is BEAUTIFUL. Kudos to you Mommy @saabmagalona for showing that mommy duty has raw beauty in its own," wrote @dawnnicah.
Another user, @gracegrazeyganne, expressed her admiration for Saab, saying "U r the coolest mom, Saab. I love your fam!!"
Still another said, "This is reality! Super love it! Kahit gaano kaformal ang suot natin kapag may kailangan ang anak, kiber na!" while one remarked, "You're really a Supermom!"
However, other netizens felt like Saab's husband, Jim, should have offered her a hand, although they only said so to humor Saab.
"And hubby is just sitting there like... (laugh out loud emoji)," wrote @ronachrisma.
@applebrn wrote, "And there's Jim sitting pretty (laugh out loud emoji)."
@laisafrnl_ wrote, "And Jim was like, "what's up, Saab, everything okay? (laugh out loud emojis)"
Saab kept things light and replied good-naturedly, "To be fair, @jimbacarro is an AMAZING night nurse. He lets me sleep even if he has to go to the office early!"
User @iameaonflux_loriezg commented, "And that man beside you doesn't care (laughing emoji)" to which Saab replied, "That man is my husband and he knows I've got it (wink emoji) He always offers to hold Pancho and I'm always like GET AWAY FROM ME hahaha"
Jim and Saab's son Pancho, whose twin sister Luna didn't survive after birth, turned one year old in February.
