Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has revealed that two of her unborn triplets have died due to complications arising from her sensitive pregnancy.
During a speaking engagement, Duterte said she found out when she visited a doctor to have herself checked this week, ABS-CBN reported.
“I lost my identical twins. Monday, I wasn't feeling well, so nagpunta ako sa doctor and said I'm not feeling very good. So she checked and told me na-arrest na raw ang heartbeats ng identical twins, but fighting pa ang isa,” she said.

This comes after the Davao City bombing last Friday where at least 14 were killed including the nurse attending to the mayor.
It was less than a month ago when Duterte announced that she was carrying triplets during her seventh week of pregnancy. Women carrying twins, triplets, or more are at high risk for early fetus loss.
