Say Hello to Primo's Baby Brother Leon!

The Arellano family has just welcomed a tiny addition to their family. TV host Iya Villania gave birth to her second child, son Alonzo Leon V. Arellano, today, August 19.

Iya documented Leon's arrival on her Instagram stories, starting at 2:01 a.m. when she said that she and husband Drew were "passing time" at the hospital. Hours later, at 9:44 a.m., she posted another story. "Done!!!" she wrote.

"Week 39, Aug 19, 2018, 9:44 a.m. Alonzo Leon V. Arellano," the TV host wrote as a caption for her birth announcement and Leon's very first photo on her Instagram stories. 

 

 

Drew also posted a photo on his own Instagram. "Alonzo Leon V. Arellano. Raaaaaaawr." he wrote in the caption. 

Iya and Drew jointly announced the pregnancy when Iya was past her first trimester. It was both a birth announcement and gender reveal done a la Crossfit style. Even their baby shower was held at a Crossfit gym, with games that included reps or exercise routines. 

The new mom of two credits the exercise regimen for her easy second pregnancy. Similar to her first pregnancy, Iya kept her advocacy of spreading awareness about the value and importance of continuing to exercise even while pregnant. She regularly posts videos of herself doing squats and lifting weights. 

Nearing her due date, Iya has continuously shared tips and experiential advice on packing bags for the hospital and reusing Primo's baby essentials for Baby Leon. As she has always been a practical and "wais" mom, she only asked for diapers for gifts during her baby shower, . 

One-year-old Primo has excitedly anticipated the birth of his sibling, kissing his mom's baby belly since it became big enough to be noticed. 

Iya has been sharing on social media how her firstborn has been eating enthusiastically on his own, and now has graduated to 'big boy' or regular plate. He has been hitting independence milestones of late, which would probably make Iya's life as a mom of two a bit easier.
