Parents, warn your kids as another video is going viral for the wrong reasons, and could potentially cause injury, or even death.
The Tripping Jump Challenge, or Skullbreaker Challenge video which became popular on Tiktok, a video-sharing social network app, is a prank carried out by two persons to one unsuspecting individual. The "victim" stands in the middle. The two show him what to do — jump in the air — and while he's off the ground, the two kick his legs from behind to throw him off balance. The "victim" is caught off guard and falls on the ground.
The danger lies in that the victim is caught by surprise while mid-air, and may not be able to break his fall, which may lead to injuries like broken bones and/or internal bleeding.

There have, in fact, been several reports of injuries resulting from this challenge in several countries.
In Florida, a high school freshman was hospitalized after she was tricked into participating in the social media challenge by two of her friends. NBC Miami reports that after the victim's legal counsel obtained a copy of the video, the school has subjected the pranksters to disciplinary action while the victim's family chose to transfer her to another school.
In Brazil, 16-year-old Emanuela Medeiros hit her head on the ground when she fell after participating in the same challenge while inside the campus at the Antonio Fagundes Municipal School in November 2019. She suffered a head trauma and died, newspaper Correio Braziliense reported last week.
