Sofia Andres said she expected her parents to be angry when they learned of her pregnancy. But they took it better than she expected.
Sofia admitted to Korina Sanchez on a Rated K episode (watch video below) that the pressure she felt was intense when she was planning to tell her parents about her pregnancy.
"Natakot po ako kung paano ko sasabihin sa parents ko. Tinulungan po ako ng sister (Lara) ko. We went to a doctor, and he gave us the ultrasound photo. Yun po ang pinakita ko sa parents ko."
Sofia told Korina her mom, Monette, cried upon her the news. Her dad, Eric, said, "O, paano yan. Nasaan si Daniel? Nagusap na ba kayo?"
She continued, "Kumbaga hindi naman po sila nagalit. Yun yung pinaka-pressure ko na moment kasi akala ko pagagalitan nila ako pero tinanggap naman po nila ng buo."
After Daniel returned to the Philippines, he and Sofia went to Australia together. Sofia said it made sense to spend her pregnancy and give birth there because Daniel was studying Business Administration in Sydney.

Sofia added, "Mas madali po sa amin na magsama at magtulungan sa responsbility namin."
Sofia would pick up Daniel from school, do the grocery, and cook for her and Daniel, who will continue his studies.Korina asked Sofia what her dreams were as a mom and for herself. Her first answer was, "As a family, dream ng bawat ina na buong family."
She then told Korina that she wants to go back to work. "Gusto ko po ulit magtrabaho. Maganda po kasi na may sarili akong ipon and by that, nasusuportahan ko ang family ko."
She then said half-jokingly, "Sana po bumalik na yung ABS para may tabaho na po ulit." (This Rated K Episode was upload on YouTube on June 28, 2020. ABS-CBN's franchise was not renewed last July 10.)
Sofia said also wanted a chance to go to college and finish a degree in interior design. "Gusto ko rin makaipon, so I can go back to school kasi iba rin yung tapos ng college."

When Korina asked Daniel if he was shellshocked that he was a dad all of a sudden, he replied, "Well, yes, you know it wasn't easy...[But] with Sofia by my side and her support towards me, she made it a lot easier for me."
