All moms who have just given birth need their doctor's go-ahead before starting to work out. Moms who gave birth via C-section (CS), like Solenn Heussaff, also need their incision scar to heal fully. Four months after giving birth to her first baby, daughter Thylane Katana, the actress gave an update on how her scar has healed.
"My CS is bikini cut [and] super low," the new mom wrote on her Instagram Stories along with a photo of her CS scar. "[I] don't feel numbness, and [I] feel okay to work out," Solenn added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos

Before anyone said anything, the actress pointed out herself that her linea negra, or the black vertical line on almost all pregnant women's tummy, has not entirely disappeared.

Solenn has been sharing simple home postpartum workouts that help her lose her pregnancy weight. With the image of her CS scar four months after giving birth, she promised to post breathing exercises that she does every day, which moms can start "as early as two weeks after giving birth,"
However, each woman's postpartum recovery is unique as every pregnancy is, so moms need to have their doctor's go-ahead first. "Always ask your OB before you start exercising," Solenn stressed.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Listen to your body and avoid certain movements if you feel pain," the new mom wrote in one of the postpartum workout videos she shared on Instagram. She admitted it wasn't easy for her to do exercises with significant stretching movements at first — she felt like her CS wound would rip open.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Solenn calls her exercises "boring." but they've been helping her achieve her goal "little by little." She's also been dancing Zumba and doing meditation and postpartum yoga. Her goal is to be back to her old self by her 35th birthday in July.
