1. Green Lantern
The famous comic book character comes to life on the big screen with the 2011 release of Green Lantern. In this movie, test pilot Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) receives a powerful green ring that grants him unimaginable powers. He becomes a member of an intergalactic squadron which has existed for centuries, and is faced with the challenge to defeat a new enemy, called Parallax.

2. Happy Feet 2 in 3D
The dancing penguins make a comeback in this hilarious sequel of Happy Feet. So far, thoughm no plot has been revealed for the movie.

Here’s a news clip of the Australian-made film being voiced by actors such as Elijah Wood (Mumble) and Robin Williams (Lovelace). Other stars lending their voices to characters in the film are Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.

3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
The adventures of everyone’s favorite bespectacled wizard makes its last hurrah on the silver screen with the second part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Based on the bestseller by J.K. Rowling, this movie will definitely have the entire audience on the edge of their seats. Both readers and non-readers of the book get to witness what awaits the Muggle and Wizarding World as Lord Voldemort seeks to kill the boy who lived and the quest for the Horcruxes comes to an epic climax.

4. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
In this third installment of the animated film, Sid discovers three dinosaur eggs and decides to take care of them. His friends try to rescue him when he gets him abducted by the real mother of the dinosaurs.

5. Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom
Awesomess returns to the big screen with Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom. Po, now a kung fu master (Jack Black) joins forces with other kung fu masters in order to defeat an old enemy who bears a new weapon that could destroy kung fu for eternity.

6. Shrek Origins: Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer

This film chronicles the events in the life of Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) leading to the time he meets Shrek and friends. Puss’s adventures involve teaming up with Humpty Dumpty and the street-smart feline Kitty (Salma Hayek) to pilfer the legendary goose that lays golden eggs.

Premieres November 2011


7. Rio
The flight of a rare bird specie named Blu in the kid-friendly family pic “Rio” featuring the voices of Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg takes off on a colorful journey from Minnesota where Blu is a family pet.  Blu takes a brave step when he decides to leave the perfect life and go for an unsure trip to the city of Rio de Janeiro where he meets Jewel, a female of his own kind.  Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on a journey that opened up to life’s many wonders.

8. Tangled
Disney comes up with its last princess movie, Tangled, a retelling of the classic fairy tale of the long-haired Rapunzel. In this movie, Flynn Rider, the kingdom’s greatest thief, is on the run, as he has a bounty on his head. He chooses the wrong place to hide, though, in the tower imprisoning the princess Rapunzel, who falls in love with him. She decides to escape to the outside world in order to rescue the man she loves.

9. Thor
The Norse god of Thunder is banished by father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) into the world of mortals for his disobedience and arrogance, devoid of his powers. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) assumes human form and becomes one of the Earth’s greatest defenders. Co-stars include Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

10. Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon
The Autobots stumble upon a Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon. They have to battle it out with their archenemies, the Decepticons, in order to be the first to find out the spacecraft’s secrets, which could very well decide the fate of the two robot races’ final battle.
