1. Carey Mulligan gives birth to first baby
The Hollywood actress is now a mom! Carey and husband, the band Mumford & Sons' frontman Marcus Mumford, have welcomed their first child, "a healthy and happy baby." The first-time mom is enjoying this special time with family and friends. Carey had managed to keep her growing bump away from the limelight and only revealed it in June while attending the Tony Awards. She recently attended the British Film Institute's London Film Festival, sans the baby bump. The couple has been very private about their relationship; they wed on a farm in Somerset, England, in 2012. Congratulations! (people.com)

Last week, soon-to-be mom and TV host Bianca Gonzalez Intal shared a sneak peek of her maternity shoot with Mayad Beginnings. Now, the studio has officially released her pregnant photos, as well as photos with expectant dad JC. "Still in my tummy but already a daddy's girl!! Now I understand why couples do maternity shoots.. so nice to get to capture life's firsts," Bianca says in one of the captions in her Instagram photos. 3. Meet Disney's newest princess: Moana
Disney recently gave a first look of their newest princess, Moana, who will be voiced by fourteen-year-old Auli'i Cravalho, from Oahu, Hawaii. "[Moana is] brave, she is so empowered, she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to get it, and I think that’s something that I can relate to as well. I just love watching how she goes along in this wonderful movie and grows as a person and helps her culture along the way," she says. Auli-i was discovered at a local charity competition and it's like a fairy tale dream come true for her: She's now acting opposite Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the Disney animated film set to be released in November next year. 4. Ovarian tissue transplants help women have children post-cancer
Yet another reason to consider freezing a woman's eggs: a new study shows that women who survived cancer and received transplants of their own ovarian tissue has helped them conceive. The study, done in Denmark and published in the journal Human Reproduction, focused on women who had one ovary removed and frozen when they found out they had cancer. Of the 32 women who had the transplant, 10 got pregnant and gave birth successfully. According to the Associate Press, over 36 babies had been born after ovarian transplants, including 14 in Denmark. The sexy actress is set to tie the knot with her American boyfriend, scientist and molecular biologist Frank Shotkoshi. Francine said yes when he popped the question last Tuesday night, October 6. "I guess when you meet the right person, at 'yung lahat ng values na gusto mo nasa kanya at kung paano ang treatment niya sa 'yo. And most importantly, kung paano niya i-embrace lahat ng tao at ginagawa mo, at todo suporta sa 'yo through thick or thin," she said in a Facebook interview with ABS-CBNNews.com when asked why she decided to settle down.
