1. PBB Housemate breaks down as daughter leaves
"Sexy Mommy ng Japan" Miho Nishida was devastated when her daughter Aimi left the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) House. She didn't get to prepare for the moment, as she was told only a few hours prior. The mom-and-daughter duo decorated cupcakes as a last activity inside the PBB house. "Basta lagi mong tatandaan, sa mga lahat ng ginagawa ni Miho, para sa iyo ni Mommy at sa iyo," she told Aimi, crying. Miho also offered a prayer to for her daughter. 2. Preggy model Chrissy Teigen debuts baby bump
The model and Lip Sync Battle host just announced her pregnancy less than a week ago and already she's sporting a baby bump, albeit a tiny one. Chrissy posted a photo of her belly on Instagram and captioned the photo: "Somebody is early to the party." It's good news still as she and husband "All of Me" crooner John Legend waited for this baby for quite a while after having some difficulty conceiving. 3. Saying "be careful" to kids actually makes a difference
A new study found that conversations about safety that parents have with their children, especially after a serious injury, actually helps kids internalize the importance of safety. The study looked at parent-and-child dialogues about safety and found that explaining a safer alternative to doing an activity helps, too. Reseachers found that explaining why an activity is dangerous to kids as young as seven years old is beneficial as well, since they are old enough to understand the situation. However, researchers say it's never too early to explain those to younger kids. Those reminders do not fall on deaf ears after all. (yahoo.com)
4. Actress Bridget Moynahan is married!
Suprise! The Blue Bloods actress tied the knot with New York businessman Andrew Frankel on Saturday evening. The intimate ceremony was held at the Hamptons, New York, and the couple was surrounded by friends and family. Bridget, who's probably best known acting alongside Will Smith in the movie I, Robot, has kept mum about her private life. She met her now husband through a friend and "she has been in cloud nine ever since." Her son Jack, with American football star Tom Brady, is excited to have three instant brothers, as Andrew is already a dad to three sons from a previous relationship. 5. Ever heard of twins who were born months apart?
Baby Link was born at 23 weeks gestation, while his identical twin brother Logan is still in his mothers's womb. The unusual situation is a result of twin-to-twin syndrome. Mom Holli Gorveatt's twins shared a placenta, leaving one twin nourished and the other one weak. She underwent surgery at 21 weeks gestation to divide the placenta that the twins share. However, complications arose so the doctor was forced to deliver Link early and manually close Holli's cervix so Logan could continue developing in utero. If everything runs smoothly, Logan will be born on January 26, four months after her twin brother's birthday! (yahoo.com)
