1. Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano reveal baby’s sex
And the baby is..."We're having a boy. It's going to be a mini-Paul,” the director revealed during an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda. As for the baby's name, the soon-to-be parents, who are due to welcome their first child in the last quarter of this year, are still undecided on whether it would have Paul’s name. “Meron pero hindi ko pa masabi talaga kung ano yung final kasi it still changes everyday,” Toni said. Paul have hinted before that he really wanted their first child to be a boy. Toni, on the other hand, just wanted the baby to be healthy. "It's getting more and more exciting kasi I'm closing in with my second trimester, so kaunti na lang. Nagbibilang na lang ako ng buwan," Gonzaga said of her experience as an expectant mother. We've been getting a lot of marriage wisdom nuggets from Judy Ann Santos lately (newlyweds should listen up), and she has spoken about how she and Ryan show support for each other. One area where they do a lot of teamwork: motivate each other other to work out. Their trainer, Kevin Robles, has shared a video of the couple during a workout session. Ryan is seen doing a funny dance to entertain his wife Judy Ann during a medicine ball drill. In another photo, Kevin writes as caption, “A couple that works out together, stays forever!” Judy Ann and Ryan also get their kids involved in exercising and working out.(gmanetwork.com)
3. Mother and child deaths decline during Aquino term
According to a UNICEF report, maternal mortality decreased significantly during the Aquino administration. The report combines the estimates of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), World Back Group and the United Nations Populations Division and showed that maternal deaths went down from 129 deaths per 100,000 deliveries in 2010 to just 114 in 2015. While it was positive news for maternity care in the country, it’s still short of the Millennium Development Goals of 52 deaths per 100,000. It was during the Aquino administration that the Republic Act No. 10354 or the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 became law.(gmanetwork.com)
4. New Furby toy is still cute--and creepyADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
To those who grew up in the ‘90s, the Furby doll is making a comeback! It sports a good techy makeover, but it still retains that cute yet somehow creepy vibe. Furby Connect has enormous LED eyes and even larger ears, and a clear, light-up joystick coming out of its head. Much like the old Furby, it still makes strange noises and offers quasi-responsive facial movements, but now the stuffed toy does its tricks with the help of an app. The modern Furby can digitally eat, lay eggs, and poop, much like the old Tamagochi toys that let you take care of your digital pet (except you can hug Furby). If you have two of the new version stuffed toy, they can also chat with one another. We cannot wait to see that happen. (mashable.com)

A second trailer for the much-awaited movie Bad Moms has just been released. The R-dated comedy features Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn as moms who are fed up with the society’s insane expectations from moms—and the ridiculous mommy wars. To liberate themselves from the judgy PTA mom leaders played by Christina Applegate, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Annie Mumolo, Mila and company decide to throw a party so tired moms could unwind. And to say it got a little wild would be an understatement. Bad Moms opens in theaters in July. (comingsoon.net)
