Jake captioned the photo, “Perfect day, perfect date.” While this is not the first time he posted about Ellie, it has fueled a few commenters' speculations that he might be the girl's father. 4. Woman gives birth after transplant of her own frozen ovarian tissue
A woman in Belgium is the first in the world to get pregnant using transplanted ovarian tissue that was frozen when she was 13 year old. Back then, she hasn’t even started her period yet when she had one ovary removed and began invasive treatment for sickle cell anemia. Her remaining ovary failed during treatment and without her frozen ovarian tissue, she is unlikely to conceive without the transplant. A decade after, four pieces of frozen tissues were transplanted onto the woman’s remaining ovary, and two years after the transplant, she was pregnant. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy in November 2014. Now her ovary’s function remains normal, allowing her to have more children in the future. (time.com)
