1. Mariel Padilla shows off baby bump!
After announcing her pregnancy on ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime a few weeks ago, the proud mom-to-be posted on Instagram her first OOTD showing her growing baby bump. In the photo, Mariel wears a floral maxi dress that's belted just above her tummy, and captioned it: "Hello baby!!! Aaawww, I get so kilig knowing you are growing inside me!!!" Mariel had previously suffered from two miscarriages but said that she will continue hosting the noontime show because she does not find the job stressful at all. (pep.ph)
2. Iya Villania and Drew Arellano go on a shopping spree for baby
The soon-to-be first-time parents went on a shopping spree for Baby A. As early as now, Iya is already excited thinking about the places they as a family-of-three would be visiting when Baby A comes out. "The next time we travel we'll either be having a fun yet challenging time with the little bugoy OR we'll be worrying sick about the little man being left at home without his crazy parentals! Although I know he'd be happy stuck at home with his crazy Lola, I just highly doubt we'll even have the heart to travel without him," she wrote as caption. (pep.ph)

The fast-food giant announced its new offerings in celebration of the country's Independence Day this June! The Adobo Flakes Yum! Burger, P59, comes with a special adobo sauce, while the Halo-Halo Sundae, P35, will have sweet toppings such as macapuno, red bean, banana, jackfruit, nata de coco, and ube syrup. These are now available in all Jollibee branches nationwide starting today, June 1. (rappler.com)
4. Michael Martinez will conduct figure skating camps
The 19-year-old Filipino 2015 Asian Trophy champion will conduct a figure skating workshop in SM Mall of Asia from June 15 to 17, and another workshop in Cebu on July 30 and 31. "I'll be teaching basic stuff, the edges, the techniques of the jumps," said Michael, who has been training for more than a decade. This is his way of giving back and inspiring other kids. The Filipino Olympian figure skater will also perform at an ice show on June 18 in SM Megamall and July 2 at SM Seaside Cebu City. Michael will then go back to training as he aims to win a gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next year. He is also looking forward to competing in his second Winter Olympics in 2018 which will be held in PyeongChang, South Korea. (gmanetwork.com)

The much-awaited follow-up to the successful book and film franchise just gave its fandom a first look at the characters in the upcoming play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The screenplay was co-written by J.K. Rowling and the story takes place 19 years after the last book. Harry (Jamie Parker) and Ginny (Poyy Miller) are dealing with the after-effects of their grand heroic adventure with Albus Potter (Sam Clemmett). Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opens in London theaters on July 31. The screenplay will also be available in book form for fans who would not be able to watch the play. (mashable.com)
