1. Pope will release new streamlined annulment process for Catholics

In another bold statement, Pope Francis said that sometimes divorce is “inevitable”. He said, “Sometimes, it can become morally necessary, precisely when it comes to subtracting the weaker spouse, or small children, from more serious wounds caused by intimidation and violence, humiliation and exploitation.” Though the Catholic Church does not recognize divorce, Pope Francis appointed a panel last September to make the process of annulment easier. He also said in his previous talks that the church must find ways to be more welcoming of divorcees as well as homosexual in line his aim for a more welcoming church. (huffingtonpost.com)
2. X-rays, scans generally safe for pregnancy
Researchers report that radiation from X-rays and other medical imaging tests may not pose a risk for pregnant women of the babies in their womb when used properly. Radiation dose from the study were found to be well below the thresholds considered risky. Pregnant women who have suffered traumatic injuries such as broken bones or muscle tears usually need these digital imaging tests to assess the injuries. There is also no known risk for babies in utero from ultrasound and MIR tests, and they are considered safe for pregnant women, according to a report published in the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Twenty-three-month-old Connie-Rose Seabourne from the U.K. has always received positive feedback for her “cheeky smile” from her mom Julie’s friends. After some encouragement, Julie sent a picture of Connie-Rose to a modeling agency. Now, her tot, who has Down syndrome, has two contracts and is on her way to modeling success. “When I spoke to the agencies about her Down’s syndrome diagnosis, no one even batted an eyelid,” Julie said in an interview with Dailymail. “She absolutely loved it. 5. “Parenthood” star marries
Erika Christensen married her boyfriend, cyclist Cole Maness, at a ranch near Palm Springs, California last Saturday. Cole shared a newlywed photo on her Instagram the day after the wedding. They were engaged last November 2014. Erika, who is best known for playing Julia Braverman-Graham in the hit family TV series “Parenthood” which had just ended its five-year run, and Cole, have kept their relationship and wedding plans hush-hush, but documented their relationship by posting a lot of photos of them together on her Instagram account.
