1. FHM’s Sexiest Woman 2015 is a mom!
Actress Jennylyn Mercado, single mom to six-year-old Alex Jazz (with actor Patrick Garcia), is FHM’s 2015 Sexiest Woman Alive. She defeated fellow Kapuso stars Andrea Torres and Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna, who both topped the poll before the final results were counted. Jennylyn consistently made it to the top 10 for several years, but this is the first time she took the crown. (pep.ph)
2. Breastfeeding mom wins battle over tattoo
An Australian mom who was banned from breastfeeding her eleven-month-old infant because she recently got a tattoo had the court’s decision finally overturned, allowing her to breastfeed again. A judged deemed that the 20-year-old mom exposed her baby to an “unacceptable risk” despite testing negative for both hepatitis and HIV. The Family Court dismissed the ruling because the judge made his decision after researching on the Internet, the reports said. (yahoo.com)
3. "Daddy’s Home” movie trailer is out!
Just in time for Father’s Day celebrations, Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for its comedy movie “Daddy’s Home.” The film illustrates an intense rivalry between earnest step-dad Will Ferrell and leather-jacket-wearing dad Mark Wahlberg. This is the second time the actors worked on a film together; Will and Mark previously starred in the hilarious buddy-cop comedy “The Other Guys.” The film opens on December 25. 4. Disney exploring virtual reality for video games
Disney Interactive is considering bringing their most popular game, Disney Infinity, and other video games into the world of virtual reality. Virtual reality games use 360-degree headsets to fully immerse a player into the game, akin to actually being inside the video game rather than just playing with controllers. The Disney Infinity game already mixes characters from the different Disney franchises such as Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. (reuters.com)
5. Justin Timberlake post photos with son on Father’s Day
The actor and Grammy-Award winner celebrated his first Father’s Day with eleven-week-old son Silas Randall by posting a photo which shows Justin carrying Silas, who was wearing a pair of blue pants with an “I love Dad” embroidered on the bottoms.
