2. New heart attack test could save women’s lives
Doctors can now spot twice as many heart attacks in women by using a newer, more sensitive blood test. Research from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburg shows the standard test misses many cases with symptoms such as chest pain, and doctors rely on blood tests to judge if a patient with chest pain might be having a heart attack. Using a newer and more sensitive test, doctors were able to identify more women who are at higher risk of dying or having another heart attack. (bbc.com)

The former Lizzie McGuire actress was absent when three of the cast members snapped a photo at the birthday party of Jake Thomas, who played Lizzie’s little brother Matt in the show. With him are Lalaine Vergara, the Filipino-American actress and singer-songwriter who played Lizzie’s best friend Miranda, and Clayton Snyder, who played Lizzie’s crush Ethan Craft. 4. Dad crashes car, delivers baby
What does it feel like to deliver your own baby? Let’s ask the dad who pulled it off after crashing his car. Sergey and Angela Sushko of Colorado rushed to the hospital when Angela suddenly went into labor. The icy roads made it difficult for Sergey to drive fast and accidentally hit a curb and popped a tire. When they reached the hospital parking lot, he got a wheelchair and opened the door for Angela, and then delivered the baby right then and there. 5. Kids who play freely get more exercise
A new study in Canada found that children who are permitted to play outdoors on their own or with friends are getting more physical activity than kids who are constantly supervised.
