"I am fully convinced that having and raising a child is perhaps the greatest earthly blessing one will ever enjoy," Hayden wrote as caption on an Instagram video of Scarlet. "The sound of her laughter makes our day." In the video, Scarlet was having her morning lessons with her dad, naming the different parts of the body--and she's getting very good at it. In another video posted by her mom, Vicki Belo, she was helping around the house while getting a dance workout. "Hay, Scarlet you're so nakaka gigil," Vicki wrote. We couldn't agree more!

    3. Meet Tatay Digong, the PNP's new ally against illegal drugs

The Philippines National Police (PNP) through its Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) unveiled their latest partner in the fight against illegal drugs in the country. Tatay Digong is the star of the cautionary puppet tale dramatized in schools to help the police reach out to kids and teach them about the trade and use of illegal drugs and its harmful effects. PCRG director Senior Supt. Tatay Digong was conceptualized after finding out that many children, even as young as 8 year sold, were being used as couriers by drug peddlers. (fhm.com.ph)

    5. Zika virus can be sexually transmitted from women to men
The U.S. Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC) revealed in a press release that a non-pregnant woman in her 20s showed symptoms of the Zika virus after having condom-less intercourse with a man the day she arrived in New York City (NYC) from a country where the virus is active. She had headache and abdominal cramping in the airport while awaiting her return flight to NYC. The following day, she developed fever, fatigue, a rash, joint and back pains, swelling of the extremities, and numbness and tingling in her hands and feet. After visiting the doctor three days after her return to the U.S., her blood and urine samples tested positive for the virus. A week later, her partner complained of the same symptoms and tested positive for Zika as well. "This case represents the first reported occurrence of female-to-male sexual transmission of Zika virus," the CDC report reads. "Ongoing surveillance is needed to determine the risk for transmission of Zika virus infection from a female to her sexual partners." The agency is currently updating its advisories on the global healthy issue. (fhm.com.ph).
