Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles are ready to build their future family home in Antipolo!
The couple with their two youngest kids, Rocket and Hunter, visited the site and shared photos of the plot of land where their house will be. It has a breathtaking view of the city!
“And so it begins! Excited to add ‘Break ground’ as a new chapter in our family adventures,” wrote Troy in an Instagram post.
In a separate post, Aubrey shared that she and Troy were able to buy the property partly through the income she gets from selling plants.
“Would you believe parts of this investment, ‘katas ng halaman’? Maraming makakarelate dito,” the mom of three wrote.
“As long as you’ve got passion, faith, and are willing to work hard. You can do anything you want in this life,” she adds.
How to make money by growing plants
In a previous SmartParenting.com.ph article, Aubrey shared that while she shells out hundreds of thousands for her plants (the most expensive is worth Php300,000!), she earns her money back by propagating it.
“Propagation is [when] you cut them and then you grow [the plants]. So, I sell them to get my money back,” she explains.
Troy and Aubrey are currently living in the metro and with so many plants around, it can sometimes look as if the plants are overtaking their home. The self-proclaimed “Mother Plant” has over 100 plant species in her collection, and it’s still growing! She even bought a greenhouse for them.
In their future home, Aubrey hinted that it would have a garden. Of course, her plant babies need their own space, too! The mom also said previously that her youngest daughter, Rocket, enjoys being surrounded with plants.
“Now, let’s build a garden then a house hahaha,” she writes in the comments section of her Instagram post.
The province of Rizal is seemingly a new favorite site for celebrities looking to build family homes. Previously, TV host Drew Arellano mentioned that he sees his family with Iya Villania “living there eventually.”
