Vic Sotto shares what it's like being a father again after 20 years!
One-month-old baby Talitha Marie will be welcomed into the Christian world on Sunday, December 10, says her dad Vic Sotto. And while this may be his wife Pauleen's first take on motherhood, Vic has had years of experience. However, it's been more than 20 years since he took care of a baby. "Parang naninibago ako, e. And tagal-tagal-ko nang walang kasamang sanggol na umiiyak sa madaling araw," he said, adding that they're lucky Baby Tali doesn't cry much and that she isn't a difficult baby.
The 'new dad' admitted that it's his wife who does most of the baby care duties, but he knows very well how hard it is for a new mom. "For the next three months, medyo talagang hands-on ka, 24 hours kang nagbabantay... It's not easy being a mother," Vic stressed. "Pagka yung gusto lang [ni Pauleen] umidlip at puyat, [andun ako]. Siyempre every hour, every two hours, at this point, dumidede yun," he said.
The host-comedian quipped that it's easier to change diapers now "dahil puro tape-tape lang, e. Hindi katulad noong araw na talagang kinu-cross mo pa, perdible, may mga bigkis pa nga noong araw, e," Vic said referring to traditional cloth diapers. (pep.ph)
Maggie Wilson is the first Pinay to finish the Antarctic Ice Marathon
The Antarctic Ice Marathon is the world's most southerly marathon and this year it took place on a moving glacier, called Union Glacier, where 55 runners from six continents braved the sub-zero temperatures and biting winds to complete the 42-kilometer course. The Philippines was well represented by mom-of-one Maggie Wilson and husband Victor Consunji. The couple finished strong, with Maggie being the first ever Filipina to finish the race. The Antarctic Ice Marathon is her first full marathon since she started running in 2015. "It was a constant battle with my mind and body. I survived without getting frostbite and hypothermia in one of the most remote locations in the world," the model/entrepreneur wrote on Instagram. (preview.ph)

Anne Curtis reacts to harsh comments about their plans to start a family
We've all seen photos of the well-documented wedding of Anne Curtis and Erwann Heussaff in beautiful New Zealand. However, the lovely start of a new chapter in their life was marred by harsh comments regarding a supposed statement she made that implied she does not want to have a baby yet. The comments came after a news article with a headline that read, "Ann Curtis no time to have a baby yet" came out, and Twitter user @ssiral gathered the comments and posted them with the tweet: "Today's exciting episode of 'Rape Culture and Misogyny in Facebook Comment.'" "You're selfish. Why marry if you don't want to be a mother?" one comment read. "Kung ganyan ang paniniwala mo, sana pag dumating yung panahon na gugustuhin mo na eh di ka magkaron," another comment read.
"Wow. These people are so harsh. The headline is misleading too. I never said that. Maybe if they read the article they would see what I said was - WE JUST GOT MARRIED, can’t we enjoy that first before making the next big step of becoming parents. It’s our life anyway! Kalerky," Anne responded on Twitter. In the article, Anne's exact reply in response to the question of when she and Erwan plan to have a baby was: "Oh my gosh…not yet! We just got married, and so first, we will enjoy married life. For the meantime, I will be looking after the children we have been helping through UNICEF." (cosmo.ph)

WATCH: First full trailer for Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom
It looks like Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning to the franchise for a rescue mission. The first trailer for the sequel to Jurrasic World presents a moral dilemma: The volcano in the island-former-theme park, where all the dinosaurs were left to live in isolation, is about to blow, and the eruption could kill the should-have-already-been-extinct creatures had they not been resurrected for entertainment. Should the humans save them or let nature run its course? The trailer also debuts new cast members including Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and the returning Jeff Goldblum, reprising his Jurrasic Park role as mathematician Dr. Iam Malcolm. It looks like they will try to save the dinos, but we'd have to wait to find out on June 22, 2018, when Jurrasic World: The Fallen Kingdom hits theaters. (ew.com)
