Vic Sotto On Witnessing Daughter Tali Achieve Her Milestones: 'Ang Sarap Ng Feeling'

Vic Sotto enjoys being cooped up at home with his daughter, Talitha Sotto, or Tali for short, and wife Pauleen Luna-Sotto. He cherishes their time as dad and daughter because spending a lot of time with his bunso makes the lockdown fun.

“‘Sa edad ko, it’s a whole new experience for me,” the TV host said in his interview on GMA’s Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho. Vic said they only had little pockets of time together outside of the days they travel as a family.

The 66-year-old actor acknowledged that he missed many of his older children’s milestones during their growing-up years. Vic’s older kinds include Danica Sotto-Pingris and Oyo Sotto (with ex-wife Dina Bonnevie), Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto (with actress Connie Reyes), and Paulina Sotto-Llanes (with model Angela Luz).

“Tali is my first child na halos nakita ko lahat ng firsts niya—first steps, first song, first words. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam,” he shared.

Vic is proud of his kids, dismisses Tali’s bashers

Vic says he can vouch for Tali's singing talent. "Pagdating sa kantahan, ilalaban ko itong bata ko dahil marami siyang alam, pati mga kantang pambata, kantang pang matanda, may Japanese, may French," he revealed.

He credits his wife Pauleen for her patience and perseverance in teaching their daughter. It may have also helped that Tali is easy to care for and very sweet, just like her mom, Vic shared. The little girl also has a comedic side, which she probably got from him.

About the little girl’s bashers on social media, the proud father just dismisses it all. “Ang importante naman mas marami yung mas higit na nakakarami yung napapasaya ni Tali,” he said.

As a dad, he’s proud of all his kids. “I could talk about Danica, Oyo, Vico, Paulina, and Tali all day,” Vic declared. “I really wouldn’t care if bawas pogi points yun o kung ano man. It doesn’t matter to me, because I’m very proud of them. I can talk about them forever,” he said.
