Actor and 'It's Showtime' host Vice Ganda recently bonded with Lian Charles Villanoza, the boy in a viral TikTok video who drew netizens' attention for his heartwarming reaction to a free face-painting service.
In the TikTok video posted by a face paint artist, Lian Charles is seen waiting patiently in line to get his face painted at a children's party. When his turn finally arrives, he politely asks if the service is free. Upon hearing that it is indeed free, the boy's face lights up, and he eagerly requests a Spider-Man face paint design.
Netizens expressed in the comments how they could empathize with the boy's simple delight, harking back to their childhood experience. Some wrote that it inspires kindness and seeing genuine happiness in simple things.

The boy's viral video instantly reached his mom, who disclosed on Facebook that her son wasn't invited to the birthday party but rather tagged along with an elder family friend, hence why he wore casual clothes. She explained that upon seeing the excitement on her child's face when he got home, she sent him back with a different outfit to attend the magic show that night.
Vice Ganda meets Lian Charles
On April 13, Vice Ganda said he wanted to meet the boy after he went viral for his patience and adorable reaction.
"Awwww!!! Who knows this kid? I wanna meet him," wrote Vice Ganda on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The boy's grateful mother confirmed Vice Ganda and Lian Charles' recent meetup through several clips posted on her Facebook.
As seen in the Facebook Live clips, the famous TV host invited Lian and 'It's Showtime' kids Imogen Cantong, Argus Aspiras, Princess Kathryn "Kulot" Caponpon, Jaze Capili, and Arianah Kelsey Lasam to a fun face-painting session and enjoyed activities with them at an indoor playground.
Vice Ganda also posed with Lian Charles' family in some pictures and gifted him a kiddie bicycle.
