Rhendie Resurreccion told Smart Parenting that his 3-year-old daughter named Star inspires him to drive safely.
The 31-year-old dad explained, "It serves as a reminder for me - every time na magda-drive ako maiisip ko na may bata na nag-aantay sa pag-uwi ko. Kailangan ko mag-ingat."
"Kung gusto mo pa ingatan or alagaan ang pamilya mo, you should take care of yourself first."
On November 27, Rhendie shared on Facebook, "One time, nagligpit si Misis ng sasakyan. Gagalet nang nakita pamusod ng bata nakatali sa shifter. Ligpit daw sya ng ligpit ako naman nag-iiwan pa ng ganon."
"Sabi ko sadya ko 'yon. Haha. Sinasadya ko na nandun lage yung pamusod ng anak ko sa harap."
He added, "So sa mga tulad natin na nagdadrive, kotse, motor, truck, tricycle o kahit ano pa yan, always remember na may nag-aantay sa pag-uwi mo. Ingat lage."

When asked what he wants to tell dads and husbands, Rhendie told Smart Parenting, "Taking care of yourself while driving is important not just for you, but [for] your family. Kung gusto mo pa ingatan or alagaan ang pamilya mo, you should take care of yourself first."
