This Water Park Has 6 Themed Swimming Pools Including a 'Lazy River' And 'Space Bowl'

 

 

Back in October 2019, we gave you an exclusive peek at Pororo Park, a new indoor theme park inside JPark Island Resort in Mactan, Cebu. But the piece de resistance of the 16.5-hectare resort is the sprawling water park, which has the only five-star rating in the country, as its management informs us. Believe us when we say one day is not enough to enjoy what it was to offer, especially for families. Take a look.

The Amazon River is a lazy river pool that is perfect for families with toddlers to preschoolers.

It's calm now, but the Wave Rider is a wave pool that will let you "surf" or bop along to the waves.

This pool has a beach-like shoreline and is connected to the Amazon River and Wave Rider.

Water babies will be drawn to the Captain Hook’s pool because it features a Pirate ship and slides.

The toddler pool will allow moms to relax a little bit here.

 

The good news is none of the swimming pools are too deep for kids, and there are cute floaties available for kids and grownups at the lazy river area that has a smooth current and lots of spouting fountains to add to the fun.

But if you have fearless and teens (are there any other kind?), the three towering slides in the water park will be quite an adrenaline rush. (These slides are recommended for kids 11 years old and above.)

The cost to have all this water fun: Php2,500.00 per adult Php1,250.00 per child 5-12 years old. Rates are inclusive of free use of a towel and lunch or dinner buffet at The Abalone Buffet Restaurant or set dinner at Maru Korean Restaurant, Coral Seaside Restaurant, Olive and Ching Hai Chinese Restaurant.
