This Cruise Ship Has Water Slides, Rope Courses, And A Zip Line!

Yes, cruise ships take so much time out of your week-long getaway—we mean, you can just book a flight and get to your destination in a couple of hours if you really want to have a jam-packed itinerary, right? But on the flip side, cruise ships offer fun-filled activities that you won't get to do anywhere else—such as Genting Dream's waterslide park with six different slides and a 3.5-meter zip line above the sea. All onboard. Crazy, we know!

And just to make things more challenging, you have to go through a rope course before you get on that zip-line platform. That means fumbling on planks, crawling inside a tube, hopping from one swing to another, and traversing a thick string. You also have to deal with sudden gusts of wind because the whole course is located at the topmost deck. But believe us when we say that the view is like no other.

It's totally understandable if you just want to go for Genting Dream’s less heart-pumping attractions. You can lounge around the pool deck, have a game or two of mini-golf, go for an easy round of wall climbing, or spend an all-nighter at the arcade. And if you really want to dial things down a bit, the cruise ship takes pride in its Crystal Life Spa, where you can choose from a long list of massages, facials, scrubs and wraps, and other customized treatments. You can even get your own VIP suite.

Genting Dream, which is Dream Cruises’ inaugural ship, first set sail in 2016. It features two-night, three-night, and five-night cruises from Singapore to various parts of Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Their latest offering, which is in partnership with Singapore Airlines, allows guests check-in seamlessly from the airport in your home country to the seaport in Singapore through the FlyCruise package. You don’t have to worry about getting your luggage at Changi Airport, hailing a cab to Marina Bay Cruise Centre, lining up at the terminal, checking in your luggage (again), and waiting (for hours) until you finally receive your bags in your stateroom. FlyCruise deals start at U.S. $ 315 per person, which is inclusive of a roundtrip flight on Singapore Airlines, land transfer from the airport to the seaport and vice-versa, a two-night cruise, and access to Changi Lounge within the new Jewel Changi Airport.
