  • As someone who was raised in Batangas, I can attest that the letter "B" in our province's name stands for three things: barako (the coffee or the people, take your pick), balisong, and beaches. One of the best spots to consider visiting for a family vacation is Laiya in San Juan, Batangas. With its white sand, clear waters, and close proximity to Manila, it's a perennial favorite of beach lovers looking for a quick getaway.

    Though it's the most expensive one on the list, we still  recommend the enchanting Palm Beach Resort for their accommodations nestled perfectly just where the mountains meet the sea. Participate in the water sports that they offer for adults and let the kids be kids in the resort’s playground.
