Families are welcome to visit open-air spaces and enjoy leisure activities in Subic and Clark. Both have released announcements allowing point-to-point leisure travel to individuals of all ages from areas under GCQ, MGCQ, Alert Level 3, 2, and 1.
If you are wondering where to go for your next family getaway, here’s a list of places in Subic and Clark you can consider. We have included the contact information of each destination so you can call ahead before your trip since changes in policies may occur due to uncertainties in the COVID-19 situation.
Destinations to visit in Subic
In a public advisory posted last October 12, 2021, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) announced travelers of all ages are allowed entry in Subic. However, pregnant women, people over 65-years-old- and those with comorbidities must be fully vaccinated and present their vaccination cards.
Tourists who are interested in traveling to Subic must observe the following protocols:
- Only avail services from establishments accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT)
- Groups are not allowed to mingle with other groups
- Side trips to other destinations are prohibited
- Minors ages 14-years-old and below are not allowed inside malls, duty-free shops, and other indoor facilities except for their accommodation. However, the said age group can enter theme parks, beaches, water parks, playgrounds, and restaurants with alfresco dining areas.
