  • We live in an age where taking photos of your children and documenting their milestones is as easy as pressing a button on your smartphone. For a growing number of parents though, having an actual photo shoot with a professional photographer is another experience altogether. Not only is it the perfect excuse to play dress-up, but it's also your chance to get beautifully-shot photos to put on display for everyone to see.

If you’re planning a photoshoot with your kids, it’s great to have a theme so your photos look consistent but unique—some even hire stylists! For a hassle-free experience, why not try concept studios?

Unlike regular photography studios, concept studios have themed sets complete with props and wardrobe, so all you have to do is show up with your best pose! Check out these three options located in Metro Manila:

Owner and photographer Edilbert Corsame specializes in maternity, newborn, baby, and family portraits. He’s a hands-on dad to five kids so he's very experienced dealing with children's temperament at various ages.

His studio offers themed backgrounds and he maximizes the use of props to get the perfect shot. “Clients would usually let us know ahead of time the theme that they like and we set up the studio accordingly,” Edilbert tells SmartParenting.com.ph in an interview via Facebook messenger. “Others just choose on the spot based on what they see in the studio or from the samples in our Facebook page.” Some of their most popular themes include the aviator, car racer, baby genius and nautical for boys, and princess, fairy, and garden themes for girls.
