By the time your baby reaches his sixth month, it will be one of the happiest stages of babyhood. They’ll find everything funny — from your facial expressions to the sound of your voice. Yep, this is the stage when you hear their adorable peals of laughter.
We’ve written a more detailed guide about the developmental milestones that your babies can do from 6 to 7 months, 8 to 9 months, and onwards ‘til 18 months. But in the video below, you’ll see more of what they can do as they continue to grow older. They’ll be more curious about their surroundings, and they’ll push themselves to reach, grasp, and touch objects to know what they are. They’ll be crawling like crazy, so it’s also the time when you wait with bated breath for them to stand up without your help, as well as take those precious first steps.
If your baby hasn’t reached these milestones for the specific months given, don’t panic just yet. Remember that each child is unique and they develop at different rates. But do continue to talk to your pediatrician and raise any concerns you may have for baby. (Thanks to the moms and dads of the babies who sent us video clips and photos of their babies!)
