Musikgarten is a popular program in the United States a leader in early childhood music & movement education. The Musikgarten program is also in other countries including Germany, Malaysia, Korea, China, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Taiwan. It is now brought here in the Philippines by Michelle Junia, a Cum Laude graduate of music education at the UST Conservatory of Music. Musikgarten Manila offers developmental and progressive approach in teaching babies, toddlers, & young kids from 3-5 years of age.
Music as a Stepping Stone Musikgarten makes use of music in a non-traditional and progressive manner in order to help teach other important skills, such as mathematical and communication skills. Age-Dependent Classes The Family Music for Babies (for newborns up to babies 18 months old) class is a 30-minute weekly program for babies and parents to learn how to play using music.
The Family Music for Toddlers (for toddlers 15 months up to 3 ½ years old) class is a 30-minute weekly program where toddlers get to sing, dance, listen and play simple instruments.
The Cycle of Seasons (for preschoolers 3 to 5 years old) class is a 45-minute weekly class that involves singing, chanting, moving, listening, musical games, playing musical instruments and more.
