If you're pregnant or have a newborn, you have picked out onesies already. Ever wondered about those folds or envelopes on the shoulders? If you haven't, it's time you do because it has a hack that you will use, oh, frequently.
The folds are part of the design, yes, but it serves a function. Typically, you undress the baby by unbuttoning from the bottom and getting the onesie over his head.
Nothing wrong there UNLESS your baby just pooped. It can be a messy affair (read: it gets everywhere), so trying to remove the onesie over his head becomes tricky. Honestly, the first time can make you cry because, well, you obviously don't want any poo on your precious little one!
Now here comes the hack. The folds on the onesies make it easier for you to undress the baby by pulling the onesie down, not up!
Here's another neat trick if you have those buttons or snaps on the shoulders. Just before you change diapers, take one snap from the bottom and clasp it to the button on the shoulder! You have one less thing to worry about when you clean up (and less laundry!).
If this is the first time you're hearing about it, you're welcome. One mom who shared her video to show the hack said she discovered if after 10 years of being a mom.
And if you have known about it, please keep sharing with other newbie moms because it's so helpful!
