Play, Learn, Create: 7 Summer Workshops For Kids This 2025

Summer break is in full swing, and if you want to keep your kids learning and having fun beyond the classroom, let them join a workshop! There's a variety of summer workshops available, each offering hands-on activities that spark creativity, build confidence, and encourage social interaction. 

Here's a list of exciting summer workshops for kids in 2025 that will keep them engaged throughout the break.

Summer Workshops for Kids from May to June 2025

1. McDonald's Philippines Kiddie Crew

As a member of the Kiddie Crew, your child will engage in hands-on training in burger making, customer service, and enjoyable activities at McDonald's. At the same time, they will enjoy learning the values of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and friendship. This program is open to children aged three to 12.

You can sign up your kid for P999, which includes a special Kiddie Crew shirt, bag, and bucket hat to take home as a keepsake of their experience. The five-day workshop also provides meals to keep them energized.

2. JolliKids Fun Camp

Give your kid a fun and educational experience with the JolliKids Fun Camp! Running until June 14, 2025, this 2-day camp offers children aged four to 12 the chance to step into the shoes of a Jollibee crew member and enjoy exciting hands-on activities.

Throughout the camp, kids will learn to take and serve Jollibee orders, make their own Yumburgers at Yum's Factory, prepare Jolly Spaghetti at Hetty's Kitchen, and create delicious Chocolate Sundaes at Twirlie's Dessert Corner. They'll also rotate through the Busy Bees Stations, where they can practice communication and teamwork while working at the drive-thru and dine-in counter.

Each participant receives a JolliKids apron and cap, milestone stickers, and a booklet to track their progress. The camp culminates with a Level Up Ceremony, where kids are awarded for their efforts and enjoy a fun dance session with Jollibee!

3. Power Mac Center Basecamp

Power Mac Center (PMC) is bringing back its annual Creativity Camp for kids and teens! This summer, PMC's training arm, Basecamp, offers hands-on workshops for learners aged 7 to 15 to boost their digital skills.

From May to June 2025, kids will explore 2D and 3D design, Augmented Reality (AR), animation, podcasting, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Basecamp's Creativity Camp lets kids explore next-gen technologies and creative techniques with expert instructors. Courses like "3D & AR Creators: Build and Bring Stories to Life" and "Creative Storytelling: Podcast and Animation Fun" will help kids unlock their potential while having fun with tech.

For aspiring artists and designers, "Digital Designers: Create in 2D & 3D" and "Make Your Own AI: Fun with Smart Technology" will spark curiosity in digital art, design, and AI.

All sessions occur at Basecamp's Training Center in Glorietta 5, Makati, at P6,000 per course. Classes are twice a week for two hours, grouped by age to ensure the best learning experience.

4. Kids in Stripes Workshop

The Kids in Stripes Workshop at TGI Friday's offers a three-day program where children can cook, create, and explore through hands-on activities. They'll take part in cooking sessions, go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, and enjoy a few surprises along the way. Each participant will receive a TGI Friday's polo shirt, daily kiddie meals, art supplies, and a certificate of completion.

The workshop runs at all TGI Friday's branches on the following dates: June 2–4, June 9–11, June 16–18, and June 23–25, scheduled every Monday to Wednesday.

5. PETA Summer Workshop 2025

PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association) offers fun and creative Children's Theater courses this summer! Each course consists of 10 sessions, with 4 hours per session, and the tuition fee for both Theater 1 and 2 is P14,000.

Children's Theater 1 (Ages 6-8)
This course provides a safe and encouraging space for younger kids to explore their artistic side and build self-confidence. Through dance, music, storytelling, painting, puppetry, and more, children can express themselves creatively.

Children's Theater 2 (Ages 9-12)
This course is designed for older kids and helps spark creativity and artistic expression through music, visual arts, story writing, drama improvisation, and storytelling. It's designed to develop theater skills and self-expression.

• Batch 1: April 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, May 1, 2, 5, 6 (TDR), 7 (Showcase)

• Batch 2: May 29, 30, June 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 (TDR), 11 (Showcase)

6. Italianni's Kiddie Jr. Chef

Italianni's Kiddie Chef Workshop is a fun summer activity where kids get to dress up as chefs and learn how to make simple Italian dishes like pizza and pasta. The registration fee is P3,500 for new participants and includes a Chef Starter Kit with an eco bag, stickers, notepad, chef uniform, meals for three days, and a Certificate of Recognition. Returning participants can re-enroll for P2,500 and reuse their previous uniform.

Workshops are scheduled on the following dates: May 21–23, May 26–28, June 2–4, June 9–11, June 16–18, and June 23–25. The program runs from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

7. Palette Play: Kids Reimagine Amorsolo

Ayala Museum invites little artists to join its 2025 Summer Workshop, happening on May 11, 18, and 25. Inspired by the exhibit Amorsolo: Chroma, this special program is perfect for kids who love to express themselves through art. With activities like Palette Play and beginner painting sessions, it's an engaging way for little artists to explore their creativity in a museum setting.
