Anxious about back-to-school expenses? It’s good to know that there are always shopping meccas that promise affordable finds. We went to Divisoria to find the best deals when it comes to budget-friendly school supplies just in time for the back-to-school season. Divisoria is a big place. We suggest that you concentrate your shopping at the areas around the New Divisoria Mall, along Tabora St. or along Ylaya St. If you want airconditioned surroundings, then stick to Tutuban Mall or Mall 168. To read more about how to prepare to go to Divisoria and explore it, read Julian Vorpal's Divisoria Shopping Guide.
Divisoria isn't for everyone. In fact, not all school items found in Divisoria will last the whole schoolyear. The best stuff to buy in Divisoria are more of school and paper supplies, usually disposable items, or items bought in bulk. Apart from this, you have to brave the heat, the crowd and the lack of parking. If you're up to the adventure, then go for it. If not, read the article of SP contributor Jazer Basan on stress-free yet budget-friendly back-to-school shopping.
