Isang Pagtupad Ng Pangarap: 5-Year-Old Sends Her 'Book' To PublishersShe's proof that you're never too young to fulfill your dreams!by Aoife Lawlor .
A little girl in New South Wales, Australia, proved that you can never be too young to shoot for the stars when she sent in her “book” to HarperCollins Australia in the hopes of a publishing deal.
Catherine Milne, Head of Fiction at HarperCollins, shared an image of the book – written on a series of post-it notes – alongside a letter presumably written by the little girl’s parent. “I wish we got more submissions like this: Lucy, 5 years old has sent us a book she’s written, about a rabbit named Ruby. Heart, melted,” wrote Milne.
What other parents are reading
The letter sent alongside Lucy’s creative writing, read, “Hello, my name is Lucy. I am five years old. This is my first book I have written. It’s about a rabbit that saves his friend the dog.”
With a beginning as compelling as that, who wouldn't want to read the rest of her story?ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
