  • Aside from educational field trips, Show and Tell, and Family Day, one of the school activities that preschoolers and grade school students (and even the moms and dads!) probably look forward to are those that would allow them to dress up in costumes. After all, it’s not every day that they get to be their favorite fruit (hello, Nutrition Month!), or wear suits and gowns or cultural outfits to represent another country during United Nations month.

For Buwan ng Wika celebrated each August, most schools celebrate it by having their students come in costumes or attires that represent the different regions of our country. Divisoria, Baclaran, Greenhills, and other tiangges are every parent’s go-to place for budget-friendly outfits. But for those who don’t have the luxury of time to put together an original creation or brave the Metro Manila traffic, here are some online shops that you can check out for your child’s Buwan ng Wika (and beyond) outfit.
