Without a COVID-19 vaccine or even the curve flattening, parents are nowhere near ready to send their kids to school and have face-to-face classes. So the difficult decision they face now is choosing the right — and safe — educational option, whether it is online or not.
We want to help our readers make an informed decision, so we put put up Smart Parenting Classroom (Click this link to take you directly to the page.) This is a hub where you can find learn-at-home options to ensure that your child’s education continues wherever you may be.
Once you are inside the Smart Parenting Classroom, you will find three school directories: Homeschool Providers, Distance Education programs, and institutions that offer Blended Learning (scroll at the bottom how we define these learning approaches).
We know your time is precious, so we are aiding your research with a "sorter." You can sort or filter for the cost of tuition and programs or levels offered as you browse each directory.

This is just the first phase of the Smart Parenting Classroom — we are really just getting started! We envision it as a community with a sincere desire to help. That means building it as a resource hub where you can access books, worksheets, and different kinds of educational content.
To grow our directories, we want to collaborate with parents (soon you can review or recommend a school), teachers, learning advocates, schools, and other academic institutions.
In fact, if you are a homeschool provider or an establishment that offers distance education or blended learning, it is easy to be part of our list. Just email us the following:
- a short description of your school and its program
- tuition fee range
- programs or levels offered
- school website
- contact number
- address

Together we can ensure our kids widen their knowledge and understanding of the world, make great new memories of learning together, and emerge through this challenge wiser and more bonded than ever.
How we define homeschooling, blended learning and distance education
Enrolling with a homeschool provider means YOU are your child’s primary teacher. The provider will give you a curriculum to follow, supply you with books and other learning materials you’ll need, and support you in your homeschooling journey.

With Blended Learning, your child will use different online learning platforms. These schools are also prepared for the kids to go back to the classroom setting once face-to-face classes are allowed.

The schools provide learning modules for the kids to accomplish on their own. There will be teachers, but they (along with you) monitor and evaluate your child’s school work — a virtual class does ot happen daily.
