If you ask a child what her father does for a living, chances are she'll tell you that he is an accountant, a teacher, a doctor, or someone who "works with computers." And while those are very interesting professions and no doubt require a great deal of knowledge and training, there are also jobs that most of us have never heard of or which are unusual for men.
Take, for instance, a genealogist. A Google search would tell you that genealogy is the "study of families and the tracing of their lineages and history".
