The girl’s sister, Ariel Romero, shared photos of her mom’s creation on Twitter, which show her sister Atlantis’ hair styled into a green braid representing the mermaid’s tail, and with a Little Mermaid doll at the top.
“My sister had crazy hair day at school today and my mom was not playing games and really wanted her to win,” Ariel tweeted. “My mom did the mermaid because my name is ariel and my sister is Atlantis which is where ariel lives under the sea :) we’ve grown up loving mermaids thanks to my parents,” she wrote.
