Parenting is no walk in the park, but moms and dads do it anyway out of love for their kids. They say laughter is the best medicine, and it applies to parenting as well.

Remember Dad Jonas Gabriel Pangan? He first caught our attention through his very relatable video— that documented his reaction when he saw the price tags of baby essentials. He was then a soon-to-be father to his daughter, Sinag Jemimah, now 1.

"Kinumpleto po ng pagiging tatay ang pagkatao ko. Masaya. Thankful din kasi pinagkatiwala sa'min ng Lord ang isang Sinag," Jonas told Smartparenting.com.ph via Facebook Messenger.

As a father, he learned how to clean bottles and put his daughter to sleep. "Kahit nakakapagod physically, isang ngiti lang, isang yakap lang ni Sinag, napapawi na," Jonas said.

Like many moms, he found himself shopping for her daughter instead of himself. "'Yung tipong gusto kong bumili ng sapatos, pero ang ending, si baby 'yung naibili mo," Jonas shared.

Jonas says a mother's love is the same as a father's love for their child. "Siguro magkaiba lang kami sa tolerance kapag 'iyakan moments'," he admitted. "Si Mommy kasi, talagang 'to the rescue' agad. Ako minsan hinahayaan ko lang muna, 'learning the hard way' kumbaga," the first-time dad explained.

Along with Jonas's new priorities and skills, his arsenal of funny videos has grown, too. He is already fond of making videoes before he became a dad, and now his latest creations involve more parenting scenarios.

His supportive wife, Catherine, doesn't mind at all. "Si Papa talaga?!" she typically reacts to her husband's funny videos with Sinag. There's a certain appeal to seeing parenthood through a lens of laughter. In their household, Jonas takes the lead in the aspect.

Find his videos on Jonas Knows TV on Facebook and YouTube, and they'll certainly make your day. Here's a preview of Jonas's funny videos about parenting.
