Lucy Torres and husband Richard Gomez have come to accept the fact that their unica hija Juliana is all grown up and at that stage of exploring romantic relationships.

Just recently, Juliana has been spotted hanging out with the national fencing athlete Miggy Bonnevie-Bautista and, before that, she was romantically linked with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Marco Gallo.

For this reason, Lucy and Richard have been giving their daughter pointers about getting into a relationship.

Lucy told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an e-mail interview coursed through SnailWhite, she's been reminding Juliana "to pray for a good spouse."

She continued, "Who you marry is the most important decision you make, the right partner can make you soar, the wrong one will clip your wings.

"This is not a decision you leave to chance, or fate.

"This has to be God-given, heaven-approved."

On the other hand, Richard in a previous interview with PEP.ph had said, "It’s a fact of life that, one day, meron talagang manliligaw sa kanya.

"It’s a fact of life, that maybe one of these days, she’ll just decide to settle down and get married."

What to look for in a guy?

The Ormoc City mayor's advice to Julianna, "I always tell her, you really have to choose the person you want to marry, who’s going to make you happy.

“You choose somebody na you’re ready to wake up to every morning.”

He later added, "Hindi puwedeng love mo lang siya ngayon.

"When you get married, that’s the face you will see the first thing, always.

"So, are you ready? Do you really love that person? That’s a good gauge."

Juliana is currently taking up Public Administration at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. The family is based in Ormoc City.
