Nakakawala ng Pagod! Moms Share the Random Objects Kids Leave in Their Bags
  • Being a parent is the most exhausting job in the world. Not counting chores or the invisible load moms carry on their shoulders (courtesy of their partners, ahem), taking care of a child is in itself a major achievement. Ask any parent, and she will tell you that no matter how challenging it is, parenthood is worth all the sacrifice with just one smile, one hug, or a kiss from your little one.

So imagine how much it means to a parent when, on an ordinary morning, she finds some random item in her bag — a "pabaon," if you will — from her child? Whether it was put there on purpose or one of the toy soldiers only needed a place to hide, seeing the surprise and knowing that your child was thinking of you will surely tug at your heartstrings.

We asked members of the Smart Parenting Village if they remember getting such mementos from their kids, and here are some of the funniest and most "nakakawalang-pagod" anecdotes:

"My 8-year-old son Justin Tyler is very protective of me, and wants to make sure that I am safe whenever I go to work. He never forgets to slip in action figures and weapons in my bag, just in case there's looming "danger." One time it was the Avengers' Nick Fury, another time it was a Lego samurai." — Nicole Aquino, mom of two
