THEIR BUSINESS IDEA:        
Our wide range of affordable baby essentials makes it a must-visit for moms who just love to shop for chic and stylish products for their babies and toddlers. We also have a product line to support breastfeeding moms.

What makes this business unique is that we also tap other home-based moms as our sewers, suppliers and partners. This is our own little way of helping out moms who want to contribute to their family income while still taking care of their children.  

 HOW IT ALL STARTED:
We are all cousins who decided to quit our corporate jobs to be able to spend more time with our growing children. After giving birth to our second children, we all decided to just be mompreneurs so we could focus on the family and at the same time earn income to help our husbands. We are very meticulous with products that we use on our own children so we wanted to create and sell products of good quality. The price is a big factor too, since we need to be good stewards of our hard-earned money. With our love of colors and everything nice, and a preference for reasonably-priced items, we’ve come up with products that will fit the budget but with the quality and design of the expensive ones.

What’s fascinating though is that prior to the whole thing, before we all knew each of our heart’s  desires, each one of us had been praying hard for our “own business” and it was really amazing how God set us up to be together in this business.

FUTURE PLANS:
Aside from always improving our existing items and adding new market-worthy products, we also want to have more funds to expand the business by having our own retail shop where customers can see, touch and get to know our brand and products more. We want to see more of our products distributed in key cities and provinces in the Philippines, and even internationally since we can make quality products at affordable prices. We also want to be able to reach more less-fortunate homemakers to help them have a better life, and for these mothers to experience the real joy of raising their children.

 

WHY BEING A MOM IS THE GREATEST:
Being a mom is the greatest thing because this is the time we realized and learned the real meaning of unconditional love and selflessness. Motherhood is like the story of The Giving Tree, where the joy of doing is simply because of a mother’s selfless love for her children. Being a mother is all-encompassing and forever. It is the toughest job in the world but definitely the most rewarding. No mom is perfect and not every moment is glorious. We’ve realized that motherhood has its ups and downs and comes with tremendous challenges, but the joy comes in hearing "i love you, mom" in its simplest and sincerest form.  

ON WORK LIFE BALANCE:
Time management is key! We all agree that our families are our first priority. We usually work in the morning while our kids are in school. Tuesdays and Thursdays are our errand days, and it’s also when we meet with our sewers, purchase fabrics and do our brainstorming. Having understanding and supportive husbands also help make balancing work and family much easier.

ADVICE FOR ASPIRING MOMPRENEURS:
Dream and think big.  Know your own strengths and resources.  Embark on something you are good at.  Look for partners and suppliers whom you can trust, who are reliable and complement you.  Know your market and products very well so you can always offer something fresh and new. Don’t be discouraged by failures, just learn from them and move on. Most importantly, do what you love with all your heart.  Do it with passion and fire.  Don’t let mediocrity get in the way.
