Yes, it will, in the form of recurrent urinary tract infection or UTI. “Circumcision is the removing of foreskin in the penis,” explains Dr. Cua-Lobo. If a child remains uncircumcised, he could accumulate residual urine in the foreskin," says Elena Cua-Lobo, pediatric pulmonologist.
“As he grows older, if he doesn’t know how to care for the said foreskin, smegma (the whitish material around the penile head) could form and may lead to UTI.”
