The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) celebrates its 40th year catering to avid Pinoy readers. This is the longest-running event of its kind in the Philippines. The book fair is every bookworm’s dream come to life with author signings, literary seminars, and fan programs all happening in one place.

Reminders when shopping at MIBF

Before you embark on your book adventure with the family, keep in mind:

• The ground floor is where the educational textbooks are located while the second floor houses children’s literature.
• A proper breastfeeding station is located at the SMX clinic, and you will need to take the elevator to go there.
• There are restrooms provided on both floors, including one for PWD.
• There is no play area this year.
• The food stalls are located on the ground floor at the very back. The catering service Albergus has a designated dining area with tables and chairs for its customers. They even have a snack cart conveniently going around the place.
• We highly suggest that you bring a heavy-duty backpack and tote bags because not all the booths provide a shopping cart.

MIBF is currently being held at the SMX Convention Center, open from 10:00am-8:00pm, and will run until September 15 (Sunday).Ticket prices are at Php 35 for regular visitors and Php 25 for teachers and students. There are also specific booths that are giving away, specially marked coupons to gain free entrance.
